Lamentations 3:22-23
Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.
Meditation
Jeremiah wrote these words in one of the darkest seasons of Israel’s history, yet he found hope in the character of God. The reason we have not been consumed is not our strength but the Lord’s mercy. His compassions do not run out, and they do not stop at yesterday’s mistakes. Each morning brings fresh mercy for the day ahead. You do not have to carry the weight of yesterday into tomorrow, because God’s faithfulness has already gone before you. As you close this day, rest in His mercy, and wake up expecting a new supply of grace.
Declaration
Father, thank You for Your mercies, which are new every morning. I declare that I am not consumed, because Your compassions never fail. I release every failure, worry and regret of the past into Your hands, and I receive fresh grace for the day ahead. Great is Your faithfulness toward me. Help me to trust You in every season and to walk in hope and gratitude. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Have a blessed day and thank you for sharing
