Trusting always in the Lord

Psalm 20:7

Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God.

  1. Mediation

Chariots and horses were the ancient world’s symbols of strength — visible, impressive, reliable.
Yet the psalmist sets them aside for something unseen: the name of the LORD.
Trust isn’t a feeling here — it’s a choice: “we will remember.”
Whatever your chariots and horses are today, they will eventually fail you.
His name never will — so choose, right now, to remember it first.

Declaration

Lord, forgive me for the times I’ve trusted my own chariots and horses more than You.
Today I choose to remember Your name above every other source of confidence.
Where others lean on wealth, status, or strength, let me lean on You.
Be my trust when my own plans and abilities run out.
I will remember the name of the LORD my God, now and always. In Jesus Name
