Psalm 51:10
Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me.

Meditation

David prayed these words from a place of honesty. He did not ask God to simply fix his circumstances. He asked for a new heart, because he understood that everything in life flows from within. Only God can create a clean heart, and He is ready to do it for anyone who comes humbly. When we confess what is wrong and ask for renewal, He washes us and sets our spirit firmly on Him again. A steadfast spirit is one that does not waver with every pressure or temptation. As this week closes, bring your heart to God, let Him cleanse what needs cleansing, and rest in His mercy.

Declaration

Father, I come to You with an open heart. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. I declare that I am washed by the blood of Jesus and that Your mercy is new to me every day. Remove every impurity, bitterness and fear from my heart, and fill me with Your peace and Your Spirit. Make me firm in my faith and faithful in my walk with You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Have a blessed day and thank you for sharing
