Meditation
Love is not just something God does. It is who He is. Every act of mercy, every answered prayer and the cross itself flow from His nature. John teaches that knowing God and loving others cannot be separated. If we have truly met Him, His love will show in how we speak, forgive and serve. We cannot give what we have not received, so the way to love well is to stay close to the One who is love. Today, let His love fill you first, and then let it overflow to the people around you, especially those who are hard to love.
Declaration
Father, thank You that You are love and that Your love for me never fails. I declare that I know You, and so I walk in love today. Remove every bitterness, pride and unforgiveness from my heart, and fill me with Your love for others. Let my words be kind, my actions generous and my spirit gentle. May everyone I meet see something of You in me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
