Slow to anger

Proverbs 16:32
He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.

 Meditation

The world measures strength by conquest, but Scripture measures it by restraint. Anyone can win a battle outside, yet far fewer can win the quiet battle within. Being slow to anger is not weakness; it is strength held under the control of wisdom. Before you answer in haste today, pause, breathe, and ask God to guard your tongue and your heart. When the Lord rules your spirit, you carry a peace that no city or crown can give.

 Declaration

Lord, teach me to rule my spirit with Your strength. Make me slow to anger and quick to listen, and let Your peace guide my words today. Amen.

Have a blessed day and thank you for sharing
