Isaiah 60:1
Arise, shine, for your light has come,
and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.
Mediation
“Arise” is a command, not a suggestion – this isn’t the moment to stay seated in discouragement or delay.
“Shine” follows naturally, you weren’t made to hide your light, but to let it be seen.
Notice the reason given: “your light has come” not by your own effort, but as something given to you.
“The glory of the LORD rises upon you” the source of your shine isn’t self-generated, it’s His glory resting on you.
Today, arise. Whatever has kept you sitting down, get up, your light has already come.
Declaration
Lord, I rise today, I will not stay seated in discouragement or delay any longer.
I declare that my light has come, not because of my own strength, but because You have given it.
Your glory rises upon me, I carry Your presence wherever I go today.
I declare that darkness has no claim over me, for Your light is already shining through me.
Lord, help me shine boldly today, arise and shine, for my light has come. In Jesus Name
